My First Business Card Purchase

I have printed a ton of address labels on my computer so I wanted to print my own business cards, too. This was my first (home made) business card purchase and because of the other reviews, I tried this particular one. It took a little trial and error to get the correct font and size of graphic that looked good and fit the card. But for the actual end result, I have no complaints. The cards snapped off very easily and all of them have a very clean edge. You just have to bend the page the way the instructions tell you to. The weight is nice too...not flimsy at all like some cards I've seen. I'd surely feel confident handing this card to anyone.

M. Louis took the words right out of my mouth. I bought a pack of the Avery 8879 cards (heavy weight white glossy) at Staples to make business cards. They turned out perfect on my HP Photosmart 7350 printer. The color and alignment was perfect. When I tore them apart from the sheet they popped off cleanly. Easy and very efficient way of removing them. Like M. Louis I thought I'd save about 9 bucks and buy the Staples version; DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! The cards felt much more flimsy in the hand, two of the cards tore when I was trying to pull them apart from the sheet. It took a huge effort compared to the Avery ones to pull them apart, and the edges WE'RE NOT CLEAN. They had rough noticeable edges after pulling them apart. I will never buy the Staples version again.

If you don't want a professional looking and feeling card, get the Staples version. Otherwise you get what you pay for. I took my almost unused package of cards back to Staples and decided to order 5 packs of the Avery 8879 from Amazon instead.
Makes really nice cards

Prints really nice on my Canon Pro 9900 printer, which normally doesn't do well on non-Canon papers. The sheets tend to stick together and the printer feeds several pages at the same time, so I just feed single sheets and it works perfectly.
