HOW YOU CAN BECOME A HIGHLY PAID REDESIGNER. Do you go crazy in other people's homes because everything is in the wrong place? Would you like to turn that craziness into cash? Now you can make outstanding profits arranging furniture and accessories for others! Interior Redesign is the creative use of professional arranging techniques to transform a client's home from ordinary into extraordinary in a matter of hours by moving and arranging the furniture and accessories the client already owns. It is one of the easiest and most rewarding businesses in the design field today. Now Barbara Jennings, the West Coast pioneer of interior redesign, offers readers a way to improve, enhance, enrich and dramatically grow their income with their own home based redesign business. No experience necessary - no degree necessary. As director of the Academy of Staging and Redesign (hosted at Decorate-Redecorate.Com), Jennings explains the best, easiest and most profitable ways to start, grow, manage and sustain a highly successful redecorating business. She brings 38 years of experience in home business development together with decades of interior design expertise in this large format, practical manual that reveals in simple terms the how-to strategies of top professional re-designers. She teaches readers exactly what to say and do on their half day or full day projects. A very simple, low risk business to learn, readers will discover how to transform a home in a matter of hours using just what is there, then making suggestions as to what additional products and services the homeowner could acquire, if needed. The manual provides both business setup and superb marketing training, as well as design training, and the author suggests plenty of additional training and visual aids that could be acquired which will be helpful to readers as they build their business and market their services to consumers. Readers will learn to integrate, advance and deploy workable, sustainable methods that lead to confidence, empowerment and strong profits, even in a tough economy. | I purchased Rearrange It! to help me decide if I wanted to get into the Redesign business. The information provided has given me insight and practical help on the industry and getting started in a business. It provided useful tools, tips and training on interior redesign techniques and principles. With the help of this book I feel confident that I will start a redesign business and succeed in it. |
Not much actual rearranging...

| This book should simply be entitled "Starting Your Own Business In Interior Redesign". The title implies it covers all facets of redesign, but it doesn't. It's mostly about the start-up of a small business. It didn't meet my needs for creative ideas on the redesign process. |
Exceptional!!!!

| I brought this book as a recommendation from a staging course I took online. I must admit it was a two-fold blessing. The first one is, I learned more from this book then my whole course I spent alot of money on. The second thing is, I found someone who really knows what she is doing, and is teaching from her own experiences not someone elses. |
Loved this book - learned a lot

| This is a must-have book for anyone wanting to start their own interior redesign business. It covers all the basics of starting one's own business, but it also gives you a play-by-play guide on how to get appointments, how to prepare for them, what to do when you get to the home, how to interact with the client, and the top, most useable arrangement configurations one should know. This is really practical stuff. Knowing how to successfully arrange the furniture the client already has is key to success as a redesigner. I did not feel that confident until I read this guide. This book delivers what it promises. There are some really useful forms at the end, along with a chapter on how to hang artwork, questions and answers and a whole lot more. The author clearly loves the business of redesign and has been very successful in her own right. Now she is devoted to helping others achieve their goals and dreams. I love her writing style too. I appreciate the links to other resources sprinkled throughout the book. It's comforting not to have to go invent anything unless you want to. I have purchased other books she has written and recommend all of them very highly. |
alot of advertising

Has fundamental ideas and suggestions for implementation, however I thought this book was a giant advertisement for the author's other services and books. I probably would not consider another of Ms. Jennings
